Oat Milk Matcha Latte
Oat milk matcha latte is creamy and delicious hot matcha latte made at home with only a few ingredients and no special equipment.
- 1.5 teaspoon matcha powder
- ¼ cup hot water not boiling, between 165°F-185°F.
- 1 cup oat milk or less, depending on the size of your mug.
- 1 teaspoon coconut sugar
In a small saucepan, add oat milk and coconut sugar. Heat over low-medium heat until hot, but not boiling.

in a medium bowl, add matcha powder. Pour the hot water over matcha powder and whisk it until fully combined, no grainy lumps remained. Transfer matcha to your mug.
1.5 teaspoon matcha powder, ¼ cup hot water
Using hand electrical frother (see notes below*), blend hot oat milk until the desired amount of frothy foam appeared.
Pour the frothed milk over your matcha shot and enjoy.
*water temperature has to be between between 165°F-185°F to preserve the matcha flavor.
*if you do not have hand frother, use blender or french press to froth your milk.
