Oat Milk Hot Chocolate

Rich and decadent oat milk hot chocolate to enjoy during a cold season or all year round. This recipe for hot chocolate made with real drinkable chocolate, a touch of salt, and some creamy oat milk will become your ultimate treat.

Equipment

  • 1 saucepan
  • 1 set of measuring spoons
  • 1 Whisk

Ingredients
  

  • 1 cup oat milk
  • 2 Tablespoons drinking hot chocolate or good quality cacao powder
  • 1 pinch salt
  • 1 teaspoon coconut sugar

Instructions
 

  • Pour the needed amount of oat milk in your mug. Transfer the milk to the saucepan. Add drinkable chocolate, salt and coconut sugar.
  • Heat everything over low-medium heat whisking occasionally until steaming hot.
  • Pour your oat milk hot chocolate back to the mug. Enjoy as it is or with some whip cream on top.

Notes

  • do not boil hot chocolate.
  • use the mug to measure the amount of milk needed.
  • you can use a good quality cocoa powder instead drinking chocolate.
