How to make oat flour in a blender

Equipment

  • 1 Measuring Cup
  • 1 high-powered Blender I used Vitamix, wet blade container

Ingredients
  

  • 1 cup uncooked old fashioned oats

Instructions
 

  • Add one cup of uncooked oats into the regular (no dry blades needed) blender container. Place the lid.
  • Start the blender on low and increase to its highest speed. Blend for about 30 seconds. Stop the blender to shake the container. Blend again on high for another 30 seconds or until desired consistency.
  • Use oat flour to make pancakes, waffles, muffins and more.

Notes

  • You can use quick or old fashioned oats.
  • Vitamix wet blade container works great to make oat flour.
  • One cup of oats makes 1 cups of flour.
  • Store home-made oat flour in a dry place for up to 2 months.
