These air fryer chicken leg quarters turn out super juicy with extra crispy skin, seasoned to perfection. Plus, they cook in just 30 minutes in the air fryer, so you won't need to heat up the whole oven to make a delicious dinner.
Pat dry chicken leg quarters with paper towels. Preheat the air fryer basket for 5 minutes at 380°F.
In a large bowl, add 3 medium chicken leg quarters, 1 tablespoon olive oil, 2-3 sprigs fresh thyme, 1 teaspoon salt, 1 teaspoon paprika, ½ teaspoon garlic powder, ½ teaspoon onion powder, ½ teaspoon coriander . Using hands, rub in the seasoning to the chicken.
Place seasoned chicken leg quarters in air fryer basket, facing the skin side down. Add fresh thyme sprigs, if using. Air fry at 380°F for 15 minutes. Flip the chicken legs and remove the thyme or any other fresh herbs (otherwise it might start burning. Air fryer for another 15 minutes or until the internal temperature in the thickest part of the chicken leg reaches at least 175°F.
Remove air fryer chicken leg quarters, place them on a plate and let them cool down for a few minutes so all the juices distribute. Enjoy!
