Cut the tomatoes in half or use whole cherry tomatoes. In a medium bowl, combine 1 tablespoon extra virgin olive oil , 1 teaspoon Italian herbs, ½ teaspoon salt, ¼ teaspoon black pepper .
Add halved or whole tomatoes in to the bowl and toss them well.
Arrange the tomatoes in a preheated air fryer basket in a single layer. If cooking halved tomatoes, place them with the cut side down.
Air fry cherry tomatoes for 5-6 minutes at 390°F for juicy tomatoes or for 7-8 minutes for caramelized. No flipping or tossing required.
Notes
I prefer them juicier when air frying whole and more caramelized when air frying them halved. You can use other seasonings, add fresh or dried garlic.
