Equipment

Ingredients
  

  • 1 pound raw frozen shrimp, peeled, with added salt (see notes below*)
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • ½ teaspoon paprika
  • ¼ teaspoon garlic powder
  • ¼ teaspoon black pepper
  • 1 lemon or lime, optional

Instructions
 

  • Preheat air fryer for about 5 minutes at 400°F.
  • In a large bowl, add frozen shrimp. Drizzle them with olive oil and sprinkle with the seasonings (see notes below*). I also like to add a squeeze of lime or lemon juice.
  • Arrange the shrimp in the preheated air fryer basket in a single layer. Air fry for about 8-10 minutes, shaking the basket every 3 minutes for even cooking.
  • Insert a meat thermometer in one of the largest shrimp. If it reads 145°F, the shrimp are ready. If not, cook for another minute and check again until they reach the correct temperature.
