  • 1 colander
  • 1 mixing bowl
  • 1 spatula
  • 1 Baking pan
  • 1 sheet of parchment paper

Ingredients
  

  • 1 15oz canned black beans
  • 1 Tablespoon olive oil
  • ¼ teaspoon salt or more to taste
  • ¼ teaspoon garlic powder
  • ¼ teaspoon paprika

Instructions
 

  • Preheat oven to 400°F and line a baking pan with parchment paper. Drain beans in a colander, then transfer to a bowl and pat dry with paper towels. Add oil, salt, garlic powder, and paprika; stir gently with a spatula to coat. Spread beans in a single layer on the parchment. Bake for 20 minutes, stir, then bake 5–10 minutes more until crispy outside but still chewy inside. Let cool slightly and enjoy!

Notes

Drain well and pat dry the beans to get rid of access liquid.
Do not over-baked the beans.
Swap them for the low sodium or no salt added canned beans if needed.
Experiment with different seasonings.
