Ready in just 15 minutes, including prep time, this air fryer chicken sausage recipe is one of my favorite and easiest dishes to make. The chicken sausage comes out juicy, and the vegetables are perfectly charred with a slight crunch.
1tablespoonchopped fresh dill, optional for serving
Instructions
Cut the chicken sausages into ½ inch rounds. Slice both bell peppers and ½ onion thinly.
In a large bowl, add sliced sausage, peppers and onions. Add 2 tablespoon olive oil, ½ teaspoon paprika and ¼ teaspoon garlic powder. Toss to coat the ingredients.
In a preheated air fryer basket, add the sausage and vegetables. Air fryer for 10 minutes, giving it a sit or shake half way through the cooking time. If you like the veggies more browned, cook for another 1-2 minutes.
Notes
Chicken sausage itself makes the dish perfectly seasoned for my taste. Optionally, you can add extra salt or other seasonings to the veggies. The ingredients can overlapped but do not overcrowd the basket. This amount of ingredients was perfectly cooked in Ninja XL air fryer at once.If you have smaller air fryer, you can cook it in batches.
