Learn how to make a fluffy omelette in the air fryer without standing over the stove. Just mix the eggs, and seasonings, stir in your favorite add-ins, pour, and let the air fryer do the rest.
In a mixing bowl, add eggs and whisk until frothy. Add milk, salt, black pepper and whisk until combined.
Stir in diced vegetables, bacon bits, parsley or other add-ins.
Lay an oven-safe dish or 8- inch cake pan that fits your air fryer with some parchment paper. You can also grease it with oil or butter. Pour the egg mixture into a prepared pan.
Preheat the air fryer to 350°F for about 5 minutes. Carefully place the cake pan with eggs in the air fryer basket. Cover it with foil. Cook at 350°F for about 12-15 minutes. Check the omelette. If the omelette is still raw, cook for another 2 minutes or until fully cooked. The 2 egg omelette takes about 8-10 minutes to cook. Let the pan cool down slightly before removing from the air fryer. Serve and enjoy.
Notes
Different air fryers may vary in cooking time. Check the eggs at 15 minutes, and if they’re not fully set, cook for a few more minutes as needed.
You can use water, sour cream or heavy cream instead of milk.
If you make a 2 egg omelette, use smaller baking dish such as ramekin.
The pan will be very hot, wait few minutes before removing it from the air fryer. Use oven gloves.
